El grupo FORANEOS obtuvo su nombre de una encuesta que se hizo hace varios años a los estudiantes de UVG Campus Central que provenían de fuera del Departamento de Guatemala. Se les preguntó qué nombre querían ponerle a su comunidad, y eligieron "Foráneos".
La idea del grupo es poder facilitar la comunicación y la creación de una comunidad entre todos los estudiantes que vienen de distintos rincones de nuestro país.

Membership Benefits
A través de este grupo, podrás comunicarte con estudiantes de UVG que, como tú, han tenido que mudarse lejos de casa, dejando su familia, casa, amigos de la infancia, etc. y han tenido que adaptarse a otro mundo y otro ritmo de vida. Podrás compartir tus dudas, inquietudes, y de repente hasta conseguir "jalón" con alguien más para volver a casa en los feriados o vacaciones.
Podrás también obtener apoyo de los consejeros de UBE con cualquier inquietud que te surja.
